BobWork Email Warm-up free plan update: 10 free mailboxes for new accounts, 20 for earlier users

From 27 October 2026, new BobWork Email Warm-up accounts get 10 free mailboxes instead of 20. Accounts created before that date keep 20 free mailboxes for as long as they use the service. Paid prices for extra mailboxes are unchanged.

What changes

The free plan for new accounts is now 10 mailboxes per person or per company domain, with no credit card and no time limit. It is still the full engine: the same ramp from 3 to 30 warm-up emails a day, the same spam rescue, the same health score and the same ready-for-outbound check. Only the number of free mailboxes is different, and only for accounts created from 27 October 2026.

Who is affected

Only new accounts. If you signed up before 27 October 2026, you are an early user: you keep 20 free mailboxes, nothing is paused, and you do not need to do anything. The free allowance is still counted per person or per company domain, so several logins on one company domain share one allowance.

Why we changed it

Usage grew much faster than we planned. Every warm-up email is a real email that costs sending and server capacity, and each mailbox adds a few dozen of them a day. Charging for mailboxes above 10 lets us cover those costs, keep the shared network healthy, and keep the free plan free for most people. A team with fewer than 10 mailboxes still pays nothing.

What does not change

If you need more than 10 mailboxes

Add billing from the billing page in the dashboard. You only pay for active mailboxes above your free ones, billing is prorated through Stripe, and you can cancel any time. Mailboxes above your free allowance pause until billing is on; nothing is deleted.

Here is one example. A new account with 30 active mailboxes has 10 free and 20 extra. Because it has 10 or more extra mailboxes, every extra costs $3, so the bill is 20 x $3 = $60 a month. The full table is on the pricing page, and the cost comparison for 50 or more inboxes shows where the steps sit against other tools.

Ready to start? Connect your first mailboxes and let the ramp run for at least 7 days before you send cold email.

Frequently asked questions

Do I lose mailboxes if my account was created before 27 October 2026?

No. Accounts created before 27 October 2026 keep 20 free mailboxes for as long as they use the service. Nothing is paused and nothing needs to be done.

How many free mailboxes does a new account get?

A new account gets 10 free mailboxes per person or per company domain. Several logins on one company domain share one free allowance, and personal providers such as gmail.com count per account.

Do referrals and AppSumo extras still work?

Yes. Each friend you invite who connects a mailbox still adds 5 free mailboxes to both accounts, up to 50 extra, and AppSumo extras still stack on top of your free mailboxes.

What does mailbox number 11 cost on a new account?

Mailbox 11 is the first paid mailbox on a new account and costs $5 per month. With 1 to 9 extra mailboxes each extra costs $5, from 10 extra mailboxes each costs $3, and from 50 extra each costs $2. Billing is prorated through Stripe and you can cancel any time.
