DMARC Record Checker
Enter a domain. The checker reads the TXT record at _dmarc.yourdomain.com, decodes every tag, and rates the policy. For cold email the goal is p=quarantine or p=reject with rua reporting, reached in steps so you never block your own mail.
p=none, quarantine or reject?
p=none only collects reports. p=quarantine sends failing mail to spam. p=reject refuses it. Start at none, move up as reports show every legitimate service passing.
What is alignment?
DMARC passes when SPF or DKIM passes AND the domain they authenticated matches the From domain. Relaxed alignment allows subdomains; strict requires an exact match. Cold email senders should keep relaxed.
Why do reports matter?
The rua reports list every source sending as your domain and whether it passed. Without them you cannot safely move past p=none.
Frequently asked questions
Does DMARC improve inbox placement?
Indirectly. Gmail and Yahoo require it for bulk senders and treat a missing record as a negative signal. It also stops spoofers from burning your domain's reputation.
Can DMARC block my own cold emails?
Yes, if a tool sends from your domain without SPF or DKIM alignment and your policy is quarantine or reject. That is why you start at p=none and read the reports first.
Where do I send the reports?
Any mailbox you own. Many teams use a free DMARC report viewer; the raw XML is hard to read.
Do subdomains need their own DMARC?
They inherit the apex policy via sp=. Set sp= explicitly so unused subdomains cannot be spoofed.

Connect the mailbox to the free warm-up service: it sends, replies and rescues from Spam on a shared warm-up network (or a private pool per account), and tells you when you are ready for outbound.

SPF Record CheckerLooks up a domain's SPF record, counts DNS lookups against the limit of 10, and flags the mistakes that get mail rejected.
DKIM Record CheckerFinds a domain's DKIM public key by selector, tries the common selectors for Google, Zoho, Microsoft, SES, SendGrid and Mailgun, and validates the record.
Email Blacklist CheckerChecks a domain or IP against the public DNS block lists that mail servers actually query, and explains what a listing means.
